Key Features
Zero-Knowledge Identity Circuit
At the heart of Deeproof is a custom-optimized Circom circuit. It utilizes Poseidon hashing for maximum efficiency inside ZK-SNARKs, ensuring that proof generation is fast enough to run on consumer hardware (browsers) without lag.
Browser-First Architecture
Deeproof eliminates the need for mobile app downloads or QR code scanning. By operating as a Chrome Extension, it fits naturally into the desktop-first workflow of most DeFi and RWA traders. It leverages the existing authenticated sessions in the browser, reducing friction to near zero.
Sybil Resistance via Nullifiers
To prevent a single verified user from creating thousands of fake "verified" identities, Deeproof implements a Nullifier mechanism. Since the IdentityCommitment is deterministically derived from the unique userId and the trapdoor, a user cannot generate multiple conflicting identities from the same provider account without being detected or overwriting their previous state.
Identity Score (Reputation Layer)
Recognizing that not all verifications are equal, Deeproof implements a granular Identity Score. A user's on-chain reputation is the sum of their proven connections. A verification from a Tier-1 exchange like Binance carries more weight (+20 points) than a lower-tier provider. This allows RWA platforms to set their own risk thresholds (e.g., "Only allow users with Score > 50").
